The things that make people satisfied and motivated on the job are different in kind from the things that make them dissatisfied. The job of a manager, or supervisor, is to obtain the most efficient flow of productivity through control of the related goods and personnel under their sphere of influence. It is a delicate equation that combines certain humanistic needs with getting the employee to understand 'what's in it for them.' What is your equation?
This session will help each supervisor/manager build on employee strengths and learn what he/she does best, and then help him/her to do it better. We will give you motivation tips, as well as study how the Pygmalion Effect's principles can be applied at work, home, etc. while raising expectations and beliefs in your employee's ability to achieve more. It is not magic and it is not easy; but the bottom line is that it works and it can work for you!
