Phase 1 of the Capitol elevator modernization project is now complete. On Monday, August 20, the newly-installed north elevators will be placed into service. Otis Elevator and Facility Management employees will be available on Ground Floor on Monday starting at 5:30 a.m. and will provide assistance to elevator users throughout the day.

Governor Burgum Outlines Strategic Budget Direction for 2019-21

Governor Doug Burgum today outlined his strategic budget direction for the State of North Dakota during the 2019-21 biennium, announcing a new approach that places greater emphasis on finding efficiencies, reinventing processes and incenting collaboration between agencies.
Individual agencies will begin the strategy review process in May, meeting with the Office of Management and Budget and Governor’s Office to discuss how to best meet budget targets that call for base budget reductions.
