The Office of Management and Budget, along with the Governor’s Office, invites the general public to the Lighting Ceremony for the 2017 North Dakota State Christmas Tree. The ceremony will be conducted by Governor Doug Burgum, First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum, and Ms. Kim Shaw on Tuesday, December 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Memorial Hall of the Capitol Building in Bismarck.

Call for Ornaments for State Christmas Tree

The Office of Management and Budget invites artists and crafts people to provide handmade ornaments for the North Dakota State Christmas Tree. The tree will be on display in the Memorial Hall for the State Capitol, and Governor Doug Burgum and the First Lady Kathryn Burgum will participate in a lighting of the tree ceremony. The tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 5:30 p.m.
