New Elevators in Service Monday, August 20, 2018

Phase 1 of the Capitol elevator modernization project is now complete. On Monday, August 20, the newly-installed north elevators will be placed into service. Otis Elevator and Facility Management employees will be available on Ground Floor on Monday starting at 5:30 a.m. and will provide assistance to elevator users throughout the day.

Need help completing a CAFR closing package? Agencies are welcome to meet with OMB's CAFR staff on a one-on-one basis to discuss any questions they may have. Agencies should bring all questions and information used to complete the closing package. Former Governor's Residence Items Available for Purchase by the Public on July 11

Items from the former Governor's residence will be available for purchase by the public beginning on Wednesday, July 11. There are a variety of household items such as headboards, dressers, desks and miscellaneous kitchen items. Available on a first come, first served basis. 2018 Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP)

A Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP) is being offered to agencies as a tool to assist them when planning for the 2019-21 biennium budget. Agencies will independently determine whether or not it is beneficial to offer the program to their employees. This will be determined based on each agency’s budget planning process and specific business objectives.
Under the VSIP, eligible staff in participating agencies will be offered a financial incentive if they voluntarily choose to separate from employment. Following are specific program details and requirements:
Legal Notice Rate Changes Effective July 1, 2018

The newspaper legal notice rates will increase by 1.5% on July 1, 2018. These rates are negotiated each biennium by the Office of Management and Budget and the North Dakota Newspaper Association, in consideration of information received from government entities and the newspaper industry.
