Transmission Authority Meeting/Hearing Notice:

The North Dakota Transmission Authority intends to submit an application for formula grant funds under Section 40101(d) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The formula funds would provide North Dakota with $3.7 million per year for five years to be used for electric grid resiliency. The Transmission Authority is inviting the public and interested stakeholders to review the draft grant program narrative and provide comment on or by September 15th. A public meeting will be held on September 15th at 1:00 pm in the Fort Union Room of the North Dakota State Capitol. Written comments can be submitted to the North Dakota Transmission Authority via email at ndicinfo@nd.gov. The Legislature created the Industrial Commission of North Dakota (the "Commission") in 1919 to conduct and manage, on behalf of the State, certain utilities, industries, enterprises and business projects established by state law. The members of the Commission are the Governor, the Attorney General and the Agriculture Commissioner of the State. The Governor is the Chairman, and a quorum for the transaction of business consists of the Governor and one additional member. The Attorney General serves as general counsel. Governor Burgum has been elected to office for a term expiring December 14, 2024. Attorney General Drew H. Wrigley has been appointed to fill the elected office for a term expiring December 31, 2022. Commissioner Goehring has been elected to office for a term expiring December 31, 2022.

| The tentative Industrial Commission meeting schedule for 2022 is: January 21, February 22, March 24, April 20, April 29, May 23, June 30, August 4, August 26, September 19, October 20, November 18, and December 20, 2022. All meetings are subject to change and additional meetings may be added as needed. |
