Red River Valley Fair to feature Pride of Dakota Pavilion

BISMARCK – Pride of Dakota is coming to the Red River Valley Fair.

“For more than 100 years, the Red River Valley Fair has been entertaining people and now attracts more than 120,000 visitors annually,” said Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. “It is a great opportunity for fairgoers to sample and buy high quality North Dakota products and for Pride of Dakota companies to showcase those products.”

Located in the Acme Building on the fairgrounds in West Fargo, the 20 booths in the Pride of Dakota Pavilion will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., July 10-15.

Participating companies include Ada's Baskets, Amberland Foods, Bead Boutique, Cut N Scribe, Dr. Mary's Books, Dot's Pretzels, Fleur De Lis GFK,  4Z Products, Gadgets Galore, LaShe Naturals, Mable's Taste of Home, Maple River Winery, The Memory Shack, Premium Gold Flax Products & Processing, Purses by Diane, Renewing the Heart, River Rat Press, Shannon Wirrenga's Art Room, Smart & Sassy Craft, Sparkle City, Verdi's Italian Market, Vivian's Magnetic Bracelets and WildMoon Enterprises.

Pride of Dakota wines will be featured in a wine garden adjacent to the Pride of Dakota Pavilion.

Now with more than 500 member companies, the Pride of Dakota program provides cooperative marketing and promotional events, such as Pride of Dakota Day, the Holiday Showcases and in-store demonstrations to its members. Pride of Dakota also provides educational opportunities for retailers and representation at regional, national and international marketing expositions. The program is administered by the Marketing and Information Division of the North Dakota Department of Agriculture.
