Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase returns to Grand Forks

BISMARCK – The Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase returns to Grand Forks, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5-6, once again transforming the Alerus Center into a shopper's paradise.

“More than 135 vendors – the most ever for the Grand Forks Showcase – will be selling and sampling a wide variety of gifts, including foods and condiments, decorative items, books, jewelry, recordings and much more,” said Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring. “It's the ideal time and place to do your holiday shopping.”

Showcase hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. A reusable shopping bag is included with the $2 adult admission. Shoppers who bring their own reusable bag pay $1 admission. Parking is free for Showcase shoppers.

The Bank of North Dakota and Great River Energy sponsor the reusable bag giveaway.

Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcases are also scheduled for Nov. 12-13, in the State Fair Center, Minot; Nov. 18-20, in the Fargo Civic Auditorium, Fargo, and Dec. 2-4, in the Bismarck Civic Center Exhibition Hall, Bismarck.

Administered by the Business Development Division of the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, the Pride of Dakota program provides member companies with cooperative marketing and promotional events, such as in-store demonstrations, Pride of Dakota Day and the Holiday Showcases and Harvest Showcase. The program also provides educational opportunities and representation at regional, national and international marketing expositions. More than 500 North Dakota companies are Pride of Dakota members.
