Basic disk storage service is for data stored on ITD's central disk storage devices that does not require high availability or high performance. Data replication options are not available. Typical usage includes non-critical, non-transactional data.
This service is supported 24 x 7 and receives priority 2 response to incident resolution. Data is billed by the amount of storage allocated. Backup is billed separately.
As agencies move towards less paper intensive processes (reducing physical storage costs) the need for electronic storage has increased significantly. ITD offers several levels of storage services, including automated backup services.
