Bismarck, ND (Dec. 3, 2019)     |     North Dakota Chief Information Officer Shawn Riley will keynote the Broadband Association’s 66th annual conference Dec. 2-4 at the Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck. Riley, who is presenting at 1:30 p.m. CT Tuesday, Dec. 3, will discuss the impact technology is having on virtually every industry, and North Dakota’s disruptive and innovative response to statewide efforts around cybersecurity strategy, education and workforce training. North Dakota is a national leader in broadband connectivity with 100% of residents having access to mobile broadband, and nearly 90% of residents having access to 1 gigabit broadband as a result of upgrades announced last year. In addition, Riley will be speaking at the Minnesota IT Symposium at the St. Paul RiverCentre at 11:00 a.m. CT Dec. 11.
