In June of this year, ITD reached out to a number of state agencies for help completing the biennial Digital States Survey.
The results are in, and thanks to your effort, the state received an A-. Only four states received a higher grade, and this is the highest grade the state has received in the survey’s 16-year history.
The survey evaluates states’ use of technology to improve service delivery, increase capacity, streamline operations, and reach policy goals. Areas evaluated include public safety, health and human services, transportation, education and economic development, among others. A summary report of the top-performing states and a state-by-state breakdown are available online
