Succeed 2020, an initiative to ensure students' "successful transition from school to college and careers" was recently the subject of an article in the West Fargo Pioneer.
ITD was recognized in the article, along with other organizations, for our efforts towards the initiative. ITD supports the Succeed 2020 initiative through the production of reports utilizing the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS). These reports and data assist administrators and Regional Education Association (REA) staff in targeting educational programs and determining effectiveness of any such programs.
You can learn more about the SDLS on the SLDS website.
The Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) leverages stakeholders and partners of education, training, and employment programs to create a system which provides data to support the research and evaluation of programs to improve the outcomes of individuals provided service. SLDS maximizes the usefulness of management information while protecting the privacy and security of personal information.
