The purpose of this project is to upgrade all ITD 10g and 11g Oracle shared database environment to an Oracle 12c database environment. Oracle 10g is no longer supported and 11g is being discontinued in 2016, so both databases need to be updated to continue providing support to state agencies. This upgrade will ensure that product support continues while maintaining existing functionality and quality.
The project planning started in July 2016 with Department of Human Services working with the proof of concept until February 2017. The planning will continue through the legislative session.
