The Minnesota Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) has engaged in an outreach effort for central North Dakota. The inaugural event will include an opportunity for project managers, executives, sponsors, business analysts, business leads, students, and others to network with peers while taking in a no cost presentation on The Dark Arts of Project Management.

This session is about the soft side of project management. There will be opportunities for people to have fun with the topics and share experiences.

Joe Perzel is senior project manager at Surescripts. Previously he worked at Cargill, Thomson Reuters, International Multifoods, and Minnesota Workers Compensation Insurers Association. He was also owner of JPerzel and Associates, a $5M contract, perm placement, and managed-project company working with local Fortune 1000 companies.
Joe has been in the IT field since 1979, focusing on project management for over 20 years in both a corporate and vendor capacity. In addition to countless smaller projects, his project management experience includes multi-year and multi-million dollar projects in both the commercial and public sectors.
