The team discussed the Application Development Tools standard in great depth, and will recommend that the standard be rescinded. Upcoming efforts to develop a Configuration Management Database will provide an application inventory that will provide agencies with the information about what others are using and fill the void if one is created. The team also reviewed the proposed changes made to the Web Development standard at the July meeting, and will review further before making a final recommendation.
Enterprise Architecture (EA) interweaves business and IT together. It consists of the vision, principles, and standards that guide the purchases and deployment of technology within the enterprise.
