Director of North Dakota Health Information Technology (HIT)
Sheldon Wolf is the ND Health Information Technology director. He has a Master’s Degree in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Mary.
Mr. Wolf is responsible for overseeing the Health Information Technology Office that resides within the Information Technology Department. He serves at the pleasure of and under the direct supervision of the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee. Sheldon has experience in accounting, auditing, and budget management as well as leadership and strategic planning and his work experience includes work with state government, including Medicaid, the private insurance industry, and for a fortune 500 company.
The Health Information Technology Program's mission is to advance the adoption and use of technology to exchange health information and improve healthcare quality, patient safety and overall efficiency of healthcare and public health services of North Dakota.
