Hemal Basra is the Director of IT Service Management and End User Compute. His previous role was with BP where he led IT Service Management initiatives globally, centralizing Service Desk & creating a solid framework for IT Service Delivery. In addition to senior roles with BP, Basra spent nearly a decade at Hewlett-Packard in various leadership positions managing global IT teams where he managed diverse information systems, technology infrastructures, and operational settings such as hybrid environments (on-premise & cloud), database management, SAP ERP platforms, information security, and compliance.
Hemal holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver, He is ITIL V3 & SAP Basis Certified. Hemal has a daughter Mahi & son Ruhan. During his free time, he loves to ride his motorcycle, travel, learn about new cultures, skiing, and hiking.
