Duane's staff provides a variety of services to government and education via STAGEnet.
In the past school year over 34,000 academic classes and meetings were supported on STAGEnet. STAGEnet also provides internet access for all of K-20 education and for North Dakota citizens to access government services.
The division also provided over 1 million minutes/month in long distance access for state agencies. With over 250,000 connected devices, the network has become the circulatory system for government and education in North Dakota.
The division staff insures that it is reliable and secure from the threats of viruses, worms, and hackers. The division is on-guard 24/7 to insure information flows freely to the right people, at the right place, at the right time.
