Doran Eberle became the Director of Software Development in early 2011. As director, Doran is responsible for overseeing application development, business analysis, consulting, e-government services, Business Intelligence, and Quality Assurance within the division. He has more than 26 years of diverse information processing experience and is committed providing excellent customer service.
Doran has a bachelor’s of science degree in computer information systems. He holds memberships with the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and the National Management Association (NMA).
His division is in charge of the development and maintenance of computerized applications and project management services. It is the largest division in ITD and supplements its workforce with consultants to help keep up with the growing workload.
ITD's Software Development section was historically responsible for application design, development, and support of mainframe computer programs. As the Internet changed the manner in which the world conducted business, ITD Software Development reacted proactively by leading state government in web technologies and service orientate architecture.
