Doran Eberle became the Director of Software Development in early 2011. As director, Doran is responsible for overseeing ITD’s Application Development, Business Analysis, Software Architecture, and Quality Assurance services. He has over 30 years of diverse information technology experience and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
Doran earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Mary. He holds memberships with the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and the National Management Association (NMA). Most of Doran’s time outside of work is spent with his family. Doran and his wife Sara stay busy attending the many activities of their two sons.
The Software Development division is in charge of the development and maintenance of software applications and websites. It is the largest division in ITD and supplements its workforce with consultants to help keep up with the growing workload.
The division was historically responsible for application design, development, and support of mainframe computer programs. As technology changes so has the division by proactively guiding state government through newest software development initiatives, trends, and technologies.
