The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction in collaboration with the Most Likely To Succeed is encouraging students and schools to submit "video shorts" of Project Based Learning in Action.  The video should identify the class, school and district, be four to six minutes in length and focus on a classroom project that investigates and responds to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. The project should include an area or multiple areas of study such as English, math, science, or social studies.

Any school or project that is recognized as exemplary will be acknowledged in June at the Governor's Innovative Education Summit or NMSI's  Laying the Foundation Conference and showcased in NDDPI newsletters, social media and on the NDDPI Website.  The first place winner will receive a Certification of Award presented by officials in recognition of their outstanding contribution to project based learning.

All "video shorts" should be sent to kmayer@nd.gov.
