Professional Learning

The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) understands and appreciates the work educators throughout the state are doing day in and day out to improve the quality of education for students, which in turn will increase student achievement.  In education today, we know professional learning is most effective when it occurs in the context of educators’ daily work; when educators are actively involved in the process.

NDDPI is excited to announce professional learning opportunities for all educators, made available through any of the Regional Education Agencies (REAs) throughout the state.  NDDPI is currently working together with the REAs to sponsor professional learning through a competitive state grant process. All districts can attend ANY professional learning made available through these funds, no matter which REA receives the grant.

Below is a list of the two areas where this statewide professional learning approach will be available for school districts and educators:
  1.       Principal and Teacher Evaluation System Support (PTESS)
  2.       Standards Professional Learning
Information on state wide trainings will be posted as they become available.
