A parent applying for Crossroads who is requesting help with child care costs (education, work or approved activities on the education plan) must apply for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and be determined eligible using the criteria defined in the Child Care Assistance Policy manual.

A Crossroads applicant who has ongoing CCAP eligibility must be updated to a waived co-pay effective the month Crossroads is approved. Child care expenses for months prior to Crossroads approval would be covered using existing eligibility.

If Crossroads closes and the household remains eligible for CCAP, the co-pay remains as waived co-pay for the remainder of the eligibility period.

If Crossroads closes and there is not a known allowable activity which continues, the household must be allowed three months of continued assistance before CCAP can close. The three months of continued assistance begins in the month following the month of the Crossroads closure.
