Work group crafting new payment system for developmental disability providers to meet

BISMARCK, N.D. - The work group charged under North Dakota Senate Bill 2086 with crafting the details of a new payment system for developmental disability service providers will meet Thursday, April 15, 2004, at 10 a.m., in the Brynhild Haugland Room at the state capitol in Bismarck. If any or all of the members of the work group participate in the meeting by telephone or video, a speakerphone or monitor will be available.
The agenda includes: review and approval of February 5, 2004, minutes; proposed changes to NDAC 75-04-05; audits; ISLA and administrative reimbursement; zero-based budgeting, return on investment; catastrophic issues and outliers, decision on continuing to make adjustments to the current system or attempt to develop a fee-for-service system; discussion on what should be included and the format for reporting to the Budget Committee on Human Services; public comment; and scheduling of the next meeting.
Work group members include Owen Larson, Minot Vocational Adjustment Workshop; Jon Larson, Enable, Inc.; Mary Anderson, ABLE, Inc.; Mike Remboldt, H.I.T., Inc.; David Zentner, and N.D. Department of Human Services (DHS) Medical Services Division; Gene Hysjulien, DHS Disability Services Division; and Colleen Stockert, DHS Fiscal Administration.
