N.D. receives grant for education vouchers for teens aging out of foster care

Bismarck, N.D. - New guidelines for managing asthma will be introduced to North Dakota health care professionals Thursday, October 23, 2003 from 12:15 - 1:15 p.m. at the Heritage Center in Bismarck. Partnering agencies and organizations have invited physicians, pharmacists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other health care professionals. The program will also be Web cast at www.health., and can be viewed at a later date.
Sponsored by the N.D. State Asthma Workgroup, N.D. Department of Human Services, N.D. Department of Health, and the American Lung Association of N.D., the program will introduce a new asthma self-management tool and will provide information about the national asthma prevention program, the use and side effects of inhaled corticosteroids, and factors that affect asthma therapy. Dr. William Riecke is the presenter.
