G 385 Evacuation and Re-entry

Stutsman County Emergency Management is hosting a 2 day G385 Evacuation and Re-Entry Course which will be held on January 28th and 29th, 2019 at the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center located at 205 6th St. SE, Jamestown, ND 58401. Class will begin at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm on both days. (Lunch is on your own) This training will be led by instructors from The Blue Cell, LLC. There is no charge to attend.

To receive completion certificates and meet NIMS Compliance for this course, all attendees will need to have a FEMA SID Number with them when they come to class. If you don’t have a number one can be obtained at the following website: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid.

Course Overview
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to design and implement an Evacuation and Re-Entry Plan for their jurisdictions. It uses a community’s Vulnerability Analysis and Evacuation plan. It also addresses evacuation behavior and recommends methods to make evacuation and re-entry more efficient.

Primary Audience
Persons responsible for planning, implementing, and carrying out evacuations within a jurisdiction. This includes, but is not limited to: Law Enforcement, Fire, Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Elected and Appointed Officials, Volunteer Organizations, Public Health, Emergency Management, and people involved with emergency planning, response, and/or recovery efforts.
