This course is designed for both new and experienced city, county, or tribal emergency managers and new employees at NDDES and is required for ND Emergency Management Association Level 1 Certification. Emergency managers will benefit by meeting NDDES program management staff, getting first-hand information on program requirements and state emergency operations, and networking with other county emergency managers. It is highly recommended that new emergency managers complete this important training. Experienced emergency managers will get a refresher and be updated on program requirements. We strongly recommend that you complete Fundamentals of Emergency Management Course IS-230.b on line prior to this training event.

This 3-day course will be conducted on June 11-13, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day. The course will be held at the NDDES Building #35 on the Fraine Barracks installation.

A block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of 10-12, 2019 at Expressway Suites, 180 E Bismarck Expressway Ave, Bismarck. Call 222-3311 and ask for the "DES Training" block. Reservations must be made by May 30, 2019 to get the group rate.

NDDES will reimburse ND Emergency Managers traveling greater than 50 miles for motel and meals at state rates and policy. We do not reimburse for mileage.
Questions may be directed to Brenda Vossler or Larry Regorrah.
