ICS 100/200 WORKSHOP

An ICS 100/200 Workshop will be held August 21st, 2018 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center located at 205 6th St. SE, Jamestown, ND 58401. Instructors are Bill Brown and Joe Lies from the ND Department of Emergency Services. There is no charge to attend this workshop. This training is POST Board approved.

The ICS 100/200 Workshop consists of 2 courses with the ICS 100 taking place in the morning from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and the ICS 200 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. To earn completion certificates and meet NIMS Compliance, attendees will be required to complete an online test for each of these courses. You may bring a laptop and complete your test after the workshop or take the tests at a later time. Website information will be provided.

ICS 100 Course Overview
ICS 100, Introduction to the Incident Command System, introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) and provides the foundation for higher level ICS training. This course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of the Incident Command System. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

IS-200 Course Overview
ICS 200 is designed to enable personnel to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). ICS-200 provides training on and resources for personnel who are likely to assume a supervisory position within the ICS.

Primary Audience
Law Enforcement, Fire, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Elected and Appointed Officials, Volunteer Organizations, Emergency Management, and people involved with emergency planning, response, and/or recovery efforts.
