MGT 346 EOC Operations and Planning for All Hazards

Sept 9-11, 2014 Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) will present EOC Operations and Planning for All Hazards Course in Grand Forks.

This course provides personnel who could be assigned to or work in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) the skills necessary to effectively plan for and manage a large-scale incidents by applying and implementing an all-hazards, multi-disciplinary, management team approach. The course places specific emphasis on the planning, resource, and information management processes.

The course will be held at the Grand Forks Training Center, 1220 S 52 St., Grand Forks, ND. Classes will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day with registration open at 7:30 a.m. on the first day.

ND Department of Emergency Services will reimburse ND residents traveling a distance of >50 miles for motel and meal per diem at state rates. A block of rooms has been reserved and will be held until August 8, 2014 at the Canad Inns Destination Center Grand Forks, 1000 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND. (701) 772-8404 or toll free 1-888-332-2623 . Ask for the EOC Operations and Planning #355904 block of rooms. Once you have booked your room, if you have a cancellation made 48 hours or less prior to arrival date, early departure, or no-show, you will be responsible for 100% of charges for the full stay and these costs will not be reimbursed by NDDES.

This course is certified for 24 hours by the ND POST Board.
