Fargo/Cass ICS 400

The Emergency Management office of Fargo/Cass County is hosting an ICS 400 course in Fargo at the Fargo Public Safety Building. The building is located at 4630 15th Ave North, Fargo, ND. The class will be held on February 26 and 27, 2013. The training session will start at 8;00am and conclude at 5;00pm each day.

Course prerequisites are ICS 100, ICS 200 and ICS 300.

All State/Local/Tribal/ Private Sector & Nongovernmental personnel at the Mid-level Management and higher levels should take ICS-300, including: Persons serving as command staff, section chiefs, strike team leaders, task force leaders, unit leaders, division/group supervisors, branch directors and multi-agency coordination system/emergency operations center staff. All State, local and private sector emergency management personnel need to decide who within their organizations should take this training.

The following topical areas are covered in this course:
Command and General Staff
Deputies and assistants
Unified command
Organizational relationships between Area Command, Unified Command, Multi Entity Coordination Systems, and Emergency Operations centers (EOCs)

NDDES will reimburse qualified state, local, and tribal participants from outside the Fargo area for meals and hotel according to state rates and guidelines. There is no block of rooms being held for this event.
