LERMS (Law Enforcement Records Management System)
The Law Enforcement Records Management System (LERMS) is a web based application that is available to all law enforcement agencies. It is not mandatory but rather an option for law enforcement if they are looking for a cost effective way to automate their records management system. LERMS saves time and effort by automatically including UCR and IBR codes within the case report. This saves time and effort when the agencies send their UCR/IBR reports to the State repository which is then sent to the FBI. In addition LERMS allows agencies to electronically save case information that can be easily searched and shared.
The following Agency Agreement is required for each agency as well as list of personnel.
