The Producers a New Mel Brooks Musical presented by BSC Theatre
Sidney J. Lee Auditorium, Schafer Hall
March 21-24 at 7:30pm
March 25 at 2:30pm
Holding the record for Broadway's most awarded show, The Producers follows Broadway producers Max Biaylstock and Leo Bloom's attempts to rake in cash by following a simple five step plan to produce the worst musical imaginable: "Step 1: We find the worst play ever written. Step 2: We hire the worst director in town. Step 3: We raise two million dollars ... One for me, one for you. Step 4: We hire the worst actors in New York and open on Broadway ... Step 5: We close on Broadway, take our two million, and go to Rio!" Based on Brooks' beloved 1967 film of the same name, BSC Theatre's The Producers is the musical event of the year in the Bismarck area. Featuring hilarious songs like "Springtime for Hitler," and "Keep it Gay," The Producers will bring down the house every single night.
