North Dakota Museum of Art - Rick Bartow was a major American painter and member of the Wiyot Tribe of Northern California. His art speaks to universal experiences and features animals, self-portraits, and cultural references. His twenty feet high sculpture, We Were Always Here, was installed next to The Smithsonian's National Museum Of The American Indian in 2012.
