The Northwest Art Center’s Hartnett Hall Gallery is one of six local art galleries and museums featured in the Pride Minot Art Hop Friday, July 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
On display in the Hartnett gallery are award-winning photos of the badlands of North Dakota, Montana, Saskatchewan and Alberta by Saskatchewan artist Ken Dalgarno. “There can be few places in the world where the visual impact of the landscape is as hauntingly captivating as the Badlands of the Northern Great Plains,” said Dalgarno.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking in campus lots is unrestricted after 5 p.m. Other participating Art Hop galleries are the Taube Museum, 62 Doors, The Railroad Museum, Heart of the Turtle, and Art Space.
We strengthen the creative capacity of North Dakota for all who live or visit here: honoring our cultural traditions, empowering excellence and innovation, inspiring arts and culture opportunities for all.
