Cotton Wood bluegrass band from Washburn hosts its Blizzard Bluegrass concerts Jan. 15-16 with featured band Nightflyer at 7:30 p.m. in Sidney J. Lee Auditorium, Bismarck State College. Nightflyer performs a blend of contemporary bluegrass with strong traditional roots, a little gospel and a touch of blues. Their technique workshop for fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bass, dobro and banjo is Jan. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. in BSC’s Leach Music Center 177. Fee is $5 with no pre-registration. Purchase advance general admission tickets ($15) in Bismarck at Eckroth Music, String Bean, Jacobson Music, and Night Life Music; in Mandan at Cappuccino on Collins; in Washburn at Java Rose and Chase Drug, and in Center at Corner Express.
