Summer is here, and the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra is heating up! We are so excited to begin our concert season the way we always do - with a bang – we hope you can join us on Wednesday, July 4th for our Fourth of July Spectacular on the State Capitol grounds with pre-show music from Shawn Oban beginning at approximately 8:00 pm.
The BMSO Maestro, Beverly Everett invites the community to attend this event. “Join us for our one our most popular and fun concerts of the year and some of the best live music you will hear in the world,” said Everett.
Audience favorite Aaron Meyer returns to Bismarck with his band. This Portland-based group is one of America’s finest, most exciting performing groups! They join the BMSO in the beautiful outdoor backdrop of our State Capitol as we celebrate our country’s birthday. Symphony music begins at approximately 9:00 pm, with fireworks starting at dark.
New this year, the symphony will feature music from “The Music Man” with a rousing tribute to “76 Trombones”. Trombone players of all skill levels and ages will join the BMSO in this musical number. If you are interested in joining contact the Symphony office.
It’s not too late to secure your VIP seating for the event. The VIP package is $50 per person and includes 1 seat, snack pack with water, and VIP parking at the event. This offer is only available until June 30.
The Fourth of July Spectacular is one of many concerts you can experience throughout our concert season. We look forward to updating you as the season progresses. See you at the Symphony!
