Notes from Kim Konikow, NDCA Executive Director
- As NDCA continues its work with the Governor’s Main Street Initiative, we are looking for information regarding youth/young adult projects throughout the State, new, or currently existing. These need to be driven by youth participants, but can have adult partners. In fact, how these projects help create a more vibrant and healthy community that might help keep or attract a 21st century workforce is an important factor. Some of you may have responded to Rebecca’s request in December… Please keep the information coming, and know that we can assist the facilitation of bringing these projects to fruition.
- A reminder; if you are working with the Military, active or vets, in any of your programs, please send me a note at kkonikow@nd.gov! (Especially if this is a new program Beth collected a lot of information last year, and we want to keep that up-to-date, NDCA is often asked to supply this information and we want to continue to be a resource.
- I am beginning to tour the State, and visit as many of our constituents as possible. In mid- April, I will be in Devils Lake, Grand Forks and Fargo. I will be back out again in May. Hope to meet you!
