Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra Presents “Co-Opera!” – Die Fledermaus (The Bat’s Revenge)
The University of Mary Vocal Ensemble is our partner in farce for Die Fledermaus (Revenge of the Bat) an operetta by Johann Strauss II. Full of waltzes and polkas, mistaken identities and mayhem, the show, coached by soprano Dr. Youna Hartgraves and Conductor Dennis Gowen, is a rare musical treat for Bismarck.

The BMSO presents Rimsky Korsakov’s Scheherazade, and Dr. William Larue Jones and Ye Yu, Bassoonists present the Dietter Double Bassoon Concerto. Dr. Jones is also a world renowned conductor, educator and mentor to Dr. Everett.

Carver Jay Haavik, who worked on the recreation of the Oseberg viking burial ship, will give a presentation Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 2pm. Club members will display their art including chip-carving to spoons, caricatures to realistic animals.

Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra Presents "Gershwin"
The featured artist is piano virtuoso Brayden Drevlow of Thief River Falls, MN and a recent Concordia University graduate. Drevlow will dazzle on the ivories with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and “I Got Rhythm” Variations. The BMSO will also perform exciting, modern symphonic sounds with Michael Torke’s Javelin.
