Biography:

Not a registrant, under age. Born, Paris, Ill., Feb. 13, 1899, of American parents. Occupation - civil engineer. Enlisted in the Reserve Corps, at Omaha, Nebr., on Jan. 3, 1918. Called into active duty on May 25, 1918. Served at School of Military Aeronautics, Cornell University, Ithaca, N. Y., to Oct. 16, 1918; Air Service, Camp Dick, Texas, to Nov. 27, 1918; Headquarters, Air Service, Field Service, Barron Field, Texas, to March 17, 1919; Cadet Detachment, Fort Sill, Okla., to death. Grade: Private 1st Class, Feb. 1, 1918.
