Discharged from federal service at Fort Snelling, Minn., on Feb. 14, 1917, and resumed National Guard status. Called into federal service, World War. Served in Company H, 1st Infantry, North Dakota National Guard, to discharge. Grade: Private 1st Class, (date not given). Discharged on Sept. 3, 1917, as a Private 1st Class, Surgeon's Certificate of Disability, 100%.
