Registered Cavalier county. Born, Gardar, N. Dak., May 21, 1897, of Iclandic parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Langdon on Sept. 4, 1918. Sent to Camp Grant, Ill. Served in 34th Company, 161st Depot Brigade, to death.
