Registered Ward county. Born, Kiev, Russia, Dec. 23, 1891. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - laborer. Inducted at Minot on April 9, 1918. Sent to Cemp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Company M, 3rd Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 21, 1918; Company H, 138th Infantry, to death. Overseas from May 3, 1918, to death. Engagement: Defensive Sector: Gerardmer (Alsace).
