Served in Central Division, from April 6, 1917, to Sept. 12, 1917; 97th Company, 6th Regiment, Quantico, Va., from Sept. 12, 1917, to Nov., 1917. Arrived in France Nov. 19, 1917, and served there to death. Grades: Corporal, Sept. 12, 1917; Sergeant, Feb. 15, 1918. Engagements: Toulon Sector; Aisne Defensive; Chateau-Thierry Sector; Aisne-Marne Offensive (Soissons). Awarded, Fourragere. 4 years prior service.
