Registered Bottineau county. Born, Willow City, N. Dak., Jan. 7, 1896, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Bottineau on Sept. 18, 1917. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in Battery A, 338th Field Artillery, to Dec. 4, 1917; 303rd Mechanics Repair Shop, Motor Transport Corps, to death. Overseas from Jan. 17, 1918, to death.
