Served in Company A, 2nd Engineers, to death. Grades: Private 1st Class, Dec., 1917; Private, April 2, 1918; Private 1st Class, April 30, 1918. Overseas from Sept. 10, 1917, to death. Engagements: Defensive: Aisne. Defensive Sectors: Toulon and Troyon (Lorraine); Chateau-Thierry (Ile-de-France).
