Biography:

Registered in Dunn County. Born New Bedford Massechusettes on June 4, 1896 of Bohemian parents. Resided Manning, Dunn County, North Dakota. Occupation: Farmer. Served as Corporal in ND National Guard for 3 years. Inducted at Manning on August 31, 1918 sent to University of North Dakota. Served in Students Army Training Corps until death. Died at Grand Forks ND on October 25, 1918 along with 25 fellow soldiers during the Flu Pandemic.
