Born December 14, 1915 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brinkman (Farmer) six miles North of Danzig (McIntosh County) North Dakota. Enlisted at Fort Snelling Minnesota on March 27, 1941. Sent to Camp Haan, California. December 7, 1941 transferred to Oakland CA. March 1942 transferred to Berkeley CA. April 1944 transferred to Camp Hann (Riverside California. Transferred May 1944 to Camp Maxey Texas. Transferred September 1944 to Fort George G. Meade in Maryland. September 29, 1944 sent overseas to European Theater. Survived by his parents and his nine brothers and sisters: Mrs. Fay Beckle of Fargo ND, Mrs Josephine Hoirup of Lehr ND, Mrs. Florence Pudwill of Danzig ND, Mrs Inez Schabel of Isabel SD, Fred of Isabel SD, Henry, August, Leo and Amos of Danzig ND. Buried at Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial.
