Registered Pemina county. Born, Drayton, N. Dak., Dec. 26, 1893, of American parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Cavalier on April 29, 1918. Sent to Camp Dodge, Iowa. Served in 163rd Depot Brigade, to (date not given); Battery A, 338th Field Artillery, to May 16, 1918; Company D, 315th Supply Train, to Aug. 15, 1918; Company F, 359th Infantry, to death. Overseas from June 29, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: St. Mihiel. Defensive Sectors: Puvenelle and Villers-en-Haye (Lorraine).
