Registered Dunn county. Born, Centuria, Wis., June 17, 1893, of (nationality of parents not given). Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Manning on May 25, 1918. Sent to Camp Lewis, Wash. Served in 16th Company, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 17, 1918; Company B, 158th Infantry, to Aug. 29, 1918; Infantry Replacement Draft, to Sept. 13, 1918; Company C, 128th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 11, 1918, to death. Engagement: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne.
