Registered McKenzie county. Born, Hurdalen, Norway, June 11, 1888. Naturalized citizen. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Schafer on July 22, 1918. Sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 48th Company, 12th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Aug. 18, 1918; Headquarters Company, 42nd Field Artillery, to Sept. 24, 1918; Company G, Development Battalion No. 2, Camp Custer, Mich., to death.
