Registered Barnes county. Born, Nome, N. Dak., Nov. 26, 1891, of Norwegian parents. Occupation - farmer. Inducted at Valley City on July 22, 1918; sent to Camp Custer, Mich. Served in 46th Company, 12th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Sept. 25, 1918; 27th Company, 7th Battalion, 160th Depot Brigade, to Oct. 12, 1918; Provost Guard Company, to death.
