Served in Company A, 6th Engineers, to June 28, 1917; 1st Division Engineer Train, to death. Grade: Saddler, May 6, 1918. Overseas from Aug. 7, 1917 to Jan. 22, 1919. Engagements: Defensive: Montdidier-Noyon. Offensives: Aisne-Marne; St. Mihiel; Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Ansauville and Saizerais (Lorraine); Cantigny (Picardy).
